Base & Post Details

The included black torch post includes a 16-inch tapered anchor post and 68-inch post for a total height of 80 inches. The durable post is made from aluminum with a powder coat finish and has a 2.5-inch diameter. The included flex line is longer than the post height for easy connection to your gas source.

Original TOP Torch Base (Cubist Original TOP Torch)

Original TOP Torches — Inside is a built-in needle valve for precise flame adjustment. Torches can be fitted onto any 2½" post with hex bolts that are on the barrel. 3/8" flared gas inlet.

TOP-LITE Torch Base Option (Available Separately)

TOP-Lite Torches — Designed for easy and fast installation. Torches have a female ½" gas inlet. TOP-Lite Torches can be fitted onto any ½" gas pipe with threading. No needle valve.

Complete Kit Includes: Torch Head, In-Ground Post, Anchoring Post, Deck Post, SS Whistle-Free Flex Hose 1/2" (Natural Gas), LP Regulator 8" (Liquid Propane).

Installation Instructions

TOP Fires In-Ground Post: When choosing the Original TOP Base, the best option torch mounting option is to install the torch on the TOP Fires In-Ground Post where the gas line can be securely hidden inside the post. For servicing, we recommend a professional certified in the U.S. by the National Fireplace Institute as a NFI Specialist.
