Base Options Comparison
Original TOP Torch Base (OPT-TT30M/OPT-TT31M) Original TOP Torches: Built-in Needle valve for precise flame adjustment, torches can be fitted onto any 2 1/2″ post with hex bolts, 3/8″ flared gas inlet
This traditional base design allows for precise control of flame height and intensity through the built-in needle valve. This is the best option if the torch is to be installed on a post with the gas line hidden inside the post. The base connects to a standard 2½" post with included hex bolts, making it ideal for installations where the gas line runs through the post itself.
TOP-LITE Torch Base (OPT-TCH30SS/OPT-TCH31SS) TOP-Lite Torches: Designed for easy installation. 1/2″ Gas inlet torches can be fitted to any 1/2″ gas pipe with threading. NO NEEDLE VALVE
TOP-LITE Torch base is designed for easy and fast installation. It has a female ½" gas inlet. Torches with the TOP-LITE base can be fitted onto any ½" gas pipe with threading. This configuration provides a cleaner look and simpler setup, particularly suited for applications where the gas pipe comes directly from the ground or wall.
Complete Kit Option
A complete kit is available that includes all necessary components for immediate installation. The included black torch post includes a 16-inch tapered anchor post and 68-inch post for a total height of 80-inches. The durable post is made from aluminum with a powder coat finish and has a 2.5-inch diameter. The included flex line is longer than the post height for easy connection to your gas source.

Total Heat Output: 20,000 BTU. Ignition Type: Manual (Match Lit). Frame Material: Stainless Steel. Compatible with Natural Gas and Liquid Propane. Torches are for outdoor use only and should not be used during rain.

Installation Options
TOP Fires In-Ground Post: When choosing the Original TOP Base, the best option Torch mounting option is to install the Torch on the TOP Fires In-Ground Post where the gas line can be securely hidden inside the Post.
Additional mounting options include:
- Deck Post mounting plate: If installing on a Deck or Patio, you may also choose to add the Deck Post mounting plate. The Deck Post is made of Steel and has a black powder coating.
- X-Cross Torch Stand with Triangle base: Designed to hold 2 fire torches with its X cross shape Crisscross Steel Pipes.
- Propane Tank Cover for concealing fuel tanks
